Too often in our desire to tell you all you need to know about what's going on in your world, we overlook the small triumphs.

There are many people trying to make a difference who rarely receive the media attention they deserve.

"Everyday Hero" is our attempt to provide better balance in our newscast.

We're looking for Canadians who don't go looking for attention, but deserve it. People who through their ideas, effort and dedication are making a difference in the lives of other people.

If you know someone we should celebrate as an Everyday Hero, I'd appreciate knowing their name, why you are nominating them, and how we might be able to get in touch with them.
