Dear Educator,

Thanks for your interest in Everyday Hero. Over the months that Everyday Hero has been aired, we have frequently been told that the segment would be useful for teachers who are involved in social responsibility education and other classes which focus on teaching citizenship.

The common theme through all of our stories is an individual who sees a need, and who takes responsibility for addressing it. At their most elemental, they are all stories about citizenship, and the power of one person to make a difference.

We hope you'll find these materials useful. Each individual video item runs under 3 minutes. In some instances, there is additional video material related to the subject available on our website. You may want to use one item to set up classroom discussion...or use several.
