Christina Stevens didn’t have to go far to make the transition to Global National when she joined us in January 2009. She arrived from just across the building at Global Toronto. There, she spent four years specializing in investigative journalism, with various stints in the anchor chair.
Before moving east to Toronto, Christina launched her career in her hometown of Vancouver, where she was the weekend anchor at Citytv.
Christina’s passions are for people and travel, and she managed to combine both while reporting from the earthquake zone in Sichuan, China, and with soldiers in Kandahar, Afghanistan.
Outside of work, Christina can be found travelling, involved in sports in the great outdoors or working on her passion, photography.
She is a graduate of the University of British Columbia and BCIT (British Columbia Institute of Technology).
